Kimberly Thurston’s paintings grace three rooms in our house, each
Representing different periods of her work on the human figure. I am curious about these characters and ask: who are you? what do you want? what have you lost? And they mirror these questions back to me: And, who are you? What visions do you have? Art gives my house a story and informs, in startling ways, how I shift the gaze and direction of my life.
